In this game, you are a wind spirit, and you use the Wii-mote to gesture and help a boy past obstacles and dangers. I haven’t played it, but it seems pretty novel in its mechanics and definitely has nice production values.
I love the background elements and how they make the game world feel like it has some depth. NPCs, houses, and distant hills all add to the sense that there’s more “out there” than you see in the gameplay. The soundtrack is really good, too.
I found this inspiring, so I thought I would post it in case you missed it.

Such an awesome game. It’s so mellow, and the game play reflects that so well. I can’t wait for more from that Developer, I had heard somewhere that Lost Winds sold fairly well, and that they were planning on making another (hopefully longer!) game.
Is there much more to the game then bumping your character around?
There are some puzzle elements and a handful of enemies to get past, but overall it’s a rather simple and easy game. There’s some intangible appeal to it, though, which makes it totally charming to me.
Have you played little big planet at all? It has a very similar 3D on 2D style but with an entirely different puzzle style. Everything in LBP is physics based and it has a very compelling world editor. You should take a look, it’s really entertaining.
Alas, I don’t have one of those overpriced PS3 things.
But I have seen videos of Little Big Planet, and it looks really cool.
