Great Start :)
I really like how you guys are approaching this project. Im excited for this team and really hope you can make something unique. The ideas are amazing and have gotten me all excited, and I don't even like MMO's.

F'ing finally! I am so desperate for anyone in the videogame industry to do something NEW. Isn't anyone else out there tired of the same old tropes? How many orcs, terrorists, or aliens can you possibly kill before ennui sets in?

I understand the pressure that the industry is under: videogames are hugley expensive and time-intensive undertakings. From the average distributors point of view, if the game doesn't appeal to existing tastes and themes within the marketplace, the whole endeavor could blow up in their faces (and then everyone winds up shirtless, and after all "we're here to make money, people!"). However, everyone involved in games from testers to multi-billion dollar conglomerates needs to realize that risk is inherent in reward, and the increasing ubiquity of diversity in the media-space (you-tube, podcasting, blogging, etc) means that consumers (especially the target demo for gamers) is becoming more bored-er more quick-er. Please I beg of you developers/distributors, make something different, utterly and fundamentally different, than you have done before and reap the tremendous rewards that are inevitable. Fortune favors the bold, dumas(es).

Finally, kudos to the folks here for ignoring the box and doing their own thing. I wish you the best of luck; my anticipation is boundless!
